Any time I meet a fellow vintage lover, I recommend taking a trip to Williamsburg to visit Antoinette Brooklyn. Hidden away from all the hustle and bustle of “touristy” Williamsburg but not far from the train, sits a small vintage store with endless hidden gems.
Antoinette is named after store owner Lexi Oliveri’s amazing mom who worked in the fashion industry for the well-known New York City based French milliner, Lilly Daché. Her vast collection of chic finds perfectly preserved from the 1950’s-90’s inspired the opening of the vintage store in 2011. Lexi and her shop are constantly evolving from what started out as her mother’s timeless vintage collection to now offering over 15 local Brooklyn designers, some even designed exclusively for Antoinette Brooklyn.
While you can shop Antoinette’s vintage & new clothing & accessories online, I highly recommend popping by Williamsburg if you’re in the area. With an affordable price-point and a unique variety of pieces, you’re sure to find a very special garment that was once part of Lexi’s mom’s collection.
